Steve Madden -unelmia / Steve Madden Dreams

Tässä on kyllä yksi sellainen brändi, joka kannattaa ehdottomasti muistaa, kun suunnittelee seuraavan kerran korkokenkäostoksia. En tiedä kuinka monia kenkiä olen jo ehtinyt suitsuttaa lähes täydellisiksi, mutta voisin taas lisätä muutaman parin Steve Maddenejä listan jatkoksi. :) Jenkkimerkin BEVVL-korkkarit ovat ehkä upeimmat näkemäni leopardikuosiset korkokengät (suosikki leobaltsut nimesinkin jo aikaisemmin ;). Steve Maddenit taitavat mennä hyvin kaupaksi, sillä osasta kenkiä olivat kokoni jo ehtineet loppua. Toivottavasti ainakin BVVL-korkkareita saadaan vielä muutama pari lisää... :)

Mallistossa on paljon raikkaita kevätvärejä - varsinkin nudea, pinkkiä ja persikkaa. Avokkaita ja korkosandaaleja on runsaasti kuten tänä sesonkina pitääkin. Steve Maddenin kengät ovat aikamoisia kenkäunelmia, eikä niistä ainakaan puutu korkoa tai asennetta! :)

ENG: Steve Madden is a brand to remember when you're considering buying new high heels next time. I dunno how many shoes have I praised already but I could add few pairs of Steve Maddens on that list. :) The BVVL heels are probably the most stunning leopard pattern high heels I have seen so far (I named my favorite leo ballerinas earlier ;). This American brand seems to sell well cause some of the models have run out of my size already. I hope we're getting couple more BVVL's... :)

There are a lot of fresh spring colors in the collection - especially nude, pink and peach. There is also a wide range of pumps and heeled sandals which are very popular this season. The Steve Madden shoes are quite dream shoes and they surely don't miss heel nor attitude! :)

Suosikkipiilolinssit / My Favorite Contact Lenses

Käytän piilolinssejä lähes päivittäin. Silmäni kuivuvat pahasti iltaisin, joten ihan kaikki piilarit eivät sovi minulle. Minulla onkin ollut haasteita löytää sopivat piilolinssit ja olen todennut, että kertakäyttölinssit ovat minulle paras vaihtoehto. Useimmiten käytän Proclearin 1 day -linssejä, joihin päädyin ensimmäisen kerran käyttäjäarvioiden perusteella. Ne ovat itseasiassa niinkin hyvät, että olen välillä käyttänyt niitä useammankin päivän (tietysti puhdistanut ne ja ottanut yöksi pois).

Illanviettoon olen silloin tällöin valinnut värilliset linssit, joista suosikkini ovat FreshLookin Pure Hazel -sävyiset kertakäyttölinssit. Ne eivät ole kovin hyvät kuiville silmilleni, mutta kestävät juuri sen yhden illan ja antavat katseelle ja meikille hieman tehostetta.

Olen tilannut yllämainitut piilolinssit yleensä Lenson.comista ja olinkin ilahtunut, kun Lenson.comista otettiin minuun yhteyttä pienen yhteistyön merkeissä. Mikäs sen mukavampaa, kun esitellä teille jotakin tuttua ja turvallista! :)

ENG: I wear contact lenses nearly every day. My eyes get very dry at night so I cannot wear just any lenses. It has been a challenge to find the right lenses and I have noticed that one day lenses are the best for me. I wear Proclear 1 day lenses most often and the reason why I ended up to them at first was the user reviews. They are actually so comfortable that I have sometimes worn them couple days (I have of course cleaned and kept them in the container box over the night).

When going out, I have sometimes chosen colorful lenses. My favorites are FreshLook's Pure Hazel lenses. They are not the best option for dry eyes but they are okay for one night out and give nice effect to eyes and make up.

I usually order my contact lenses online at Lenson.com and I was very happy when they contacted me and suggested this little cooperation. What would be nicer than introducing you something I'm familiar with! :)

Lontoo-kuvia / London Pics

Nyt kun Lontoon reissusta on kulunut tasan viikko, en ehkä aika täräyttää ilmoille nämä viimeisetkin kuvat. Reissu oli kaikin puolin hauska ja onnistunut. Varasimme lennot Ryanairilta (Turku-Lontoo-Turku) ja huoneen varasimme kolmeksi yöksi pienestä ja sievästä Astors hotellista Hotels.comin kautta. Nähtävyydet jäivät nyt hieman välistä, mutta onpahan syy lähteä taas uudelleen. ;)

Now that it has been a week since we got back from London, it's finally time to show you the rest of the pics. Out trip to London went fine without any problems and we enjoyed our time there. We flew to London with Ryanair and stayed three nights in a small but nice boutique hotel called Astors. We didn't really go for sightseeing but at least we have a reason to get back there again. ;)

Ripsienpidennys / Lash Extension

Eilen oli ystäväni syntymäpäivä ja kävimme laitattamassa ripsienpidennykset. Nämä ovat pituudeltaan 12 mm eli eivät edes sieltä pisimmästä päästä, vaikka aika pitkät ovatkin. Minulla oli viime kesänä pidennykset pari kuukautta, mutta kyllästyin siihen, että ne pysyvät minulla huonosti ja menevät äkkiä sotkuun. Jostain syystä megaräpsyttimet alkoivat houkuttaa taas. Näistäkin näkee kyllä heti, että ne haluavat mennä melkein väkisin ristiin. Minulla on luonnostaan todella pitkät, mutta suorat ripset, joten ne painavat pidennyksiäkin alaspäin. Minun pitäisi varmaan tehdä ripsipermanentti ennen pidennyksiä, jotta lopputulos olisi siistimpi, mutta ihan niin paljon en ole valmis satsaamaan tähän touhuun. :)

Yesterday was my friend's birthday and we got done lash extensions. These are 12 mm long so these aren't even the longest option even though they look pretty long. I had lash extensions last summer for couple months but I got fed up with them cause they didn't last so long and got messy quickly. But I still wanted to get them applied again. You can already see that some of the lashes are crossed. I have naturally long lashes but they are so straight that they press down the extensions. For a good result I should probably get done eyelash perm first but I think it would become too pricey project. :)
